Both are software products from Neudive, but they differ in their target users and areas of focus. buddy-in (NDTx-01) is designed to help children and adolescents aged 10 to 18 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Social Communication Disorder (SCD) practice understanding and responding appropriately to social situations, and it is used by prescription from a medical professional. buddy-step (NDTx-02) is a product currently under research and development to support executive function practice in younger children with ADHD or ASD, and it has not yet been approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

For buddy-step, this schedule reflects the design criteria at the current development stage, and the actual method and conditions of use may change depending on future regulatory approval.

buddy-in and buddy-step are intended to complement, not replace, treatment received at hospitals or centers. The buddy-in clinical trial was conducted while children continued their existing treatments, and buddy-in was designed to allow repeated practice of social situations at home.
