Neudive Introduces Innovation Award-Winning Autism Spectrum Therapeutic 'Buddy-in' at CES 2025 Unveiled... "Dramatically Expanding Treatment Accessibility Through Digital Therapeutics!"

[Las Vegas, USA = AVING News] Neudive (CEO Sung-ja Cho) participated on the 5th (local US time) in 'CES Unveiled,' the global media event held ahead of the official opening of CES 2025.

Neudive is a company that develops and provides digital solutions to assist individuals with social communication disorders and neurodivergent conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disabilities, and ADHD. Since its founding in February 2022, the company has been demonstrating its expertise and capabilities by bringing to market 'Buddy-in' for treating social skills in autism patients, 'BuddyStep' for executive function training in children with ADHD, and 'BuddyPlan,' a social skills assessment tool.

Participating in CES and its pre-event CES Unveiled, Neudive plans to showcase its flagship product Buddy-in — winner of the CES Innovation Award — to global attendees and international media, with the aim of accelerating the creation of overseas sales channels.

Buddy-in is a digital therapeutic software that helps autism spectrum patients, children, and adolescents engage in social skills training at home. Its curriculum and functionality are centered on helping users understand the meaning behind the words and actions of classmates and peers within the familiar setting of school life. The company explains that it is a digital therapeutic that enables users to choose appropriate and correct responses for each situation.

The safety and efficacy of Buddy-in were statistically verified through an MFDS exploratory clinical trial conducted in collaboration with three domestic university hospitals in 2023, and the resulting abstracts were presented at the Korean Neuropsychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

In addition, Neudive has completed software verification and cybersecurity performance evaluation for Buddy-in through external performance assessment agencies including KTL, and has obtained GMP certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for its software medical device production facility.

A Neudive representative stated: "We expect to submit an MFDS approval application for Buddy-in within 2025 and to complete the approval process the following year. As no digital therapeutic device for autism spectrum disorder has yet received approval from any regulatory authority worldwide, we are here at CES to actively promote the potential and promise of our product."

Neudive is participating in CES 2025 as part of the Seoul Pavilion. The Seoul Integrated Pavilion, located in Eureka Park — the startup-dedicated exhibition hall — has been expanded by more than 50% compared to the previous year to 1,040㎡ (approximately 315 pyeong). This year's Seoul Integrated Pavilion features the largest-ever participation, with 104 startups from a total of 16 partner organizations, including 3 autonomous districts in Seoul (Gangnam, Geumcheon, and Gwanak), 5 startup support agencies (SBA, Seoul Tourism Foundation, Seoul BioHub, Seoul AI Hub, and Campus Town Growth Center), and 8 universities (Konkuk University, Kyung Hee University, Kookmin University, Dongguk University, Sogang University, University of Seoul, Yonsei University, and Chung-Ang University).
